"...it's crazy, though, how you get used to having the kids around for, you know, 20 years or so...then you've got to get used to having them gone. And just when you think they're gone for good, one of them always comes back. You can't imagine the adjustment period Bill and I went through when Kevin came back home to live for awhile. He brought all his costumes, too, including a lot of high heels. We're still trying to figure out what THAT means."
