So it's official - last year, our spring vacation was actually in February and we went to Switzerland. This year, our spring vacation will be to Seattle/Vancouver/Tofino, BC.
Now, before you throw up your hands in disgust, my least favorite idea of a vacation is lying on a beach, getting a tan. I only do beach vacations if my very best friends (who all enjoy sand, hot weather, and laughing at my pale, norwegian skin) are there. Otherwise, no.
So our string of cool-weather vacations continues, and I am so excited about staying here in Tofino, BC, just in time for the 2008 Whale Watching Festival. I also can't wait to see Seattle, which is a city I've always wanted to visit.
We've got flights, rooms, and other logistics booked. Now, for the big question - what do we do in Seattle and Vancouver? (we already have ideas about the really popular stuff - Pike's Market, the needle, etc.) but would entertain any suggestions. Anybody been there? Please advise.
