So there I was, sitting innocently at my desk, when I heard them. The hum that turns into a whiny sort of harmony - that's right - synthesized woodwinds. And immediately, I knew that I'd have that song stuck in my poor, holiday-addled mind all day.

What exactly am I led to believe is meant by the lyrics of "Slow Hand" by the Pointer Sisters? Hmm? Is it merely the dirtiest ballad ever to be produced by an 80's group, or is there something more happening there? Why does a song that is so smooth and pleasing make me feel as if I need a shower afterwards?

Is it a metaphor for that thing which is lacking in their relationship? Are they just blatant horndogs? These are the mysteries of the day.
